29.

No, this isn’t an ode to a lost Adele album.

Most people dread the last year of their 20’s, I’ve had a few friends cry for their youth and others just live in plain old denial.

For me, I decided to go head first and fill my 29th year with a bonanza of activities which I wouldn’t normally do otherwise; a 30 before 30 bucket list.

This has been received by people as a mixed bag, some people love it, whilst others don’t understand the need for additional motivation to do things you like. Personally, I need a kick up the arse now and again for things in my personal life, and if that means making a list of tasks and goals, so be it.

It was recently pointed out to me that I am now over the 1/2 way mark, being closer to my 30th birthday than my 29th. So it feels time to do a bit of a retrospective on what was planned, and where I am.

Important note, as there aren’t really any rules associated some items can/ do /will change over time.

For example, one is to document everything i’ve done - which until now, has yet to happen.
