Feel the rush.

Initially, this here little blog was going to be on Substack, but feels more appropriate for it to live here - making sure The Rush has it’s own lovely little home.

In the past, I've wanted to write. Dabbling in blogs many yonks ago but giving it up for not being ‘cool’. 

Now nearing 30 at a speed I never thought possible, it is probably best to just give up on ego and put this metaphorical pen to paper. 

So, here goes - an introduction to the thoughts of a late 20 something. 

At first, I planned for everything to be super thought provoking, the kind of thing which might see me published in The New Yorker in years to come. In reality, I really like reading what lipgloss people like and commenting on the current zeitgeist. 

Some top line points about this girl?* 

*Don’t worry, I'm not expecting anyone to read this anyway.

1. I stand at a well rounded 5ft - no more, no less (some may argue otherwise) 

2. When asked what I like to do in my spare time, i’ll always answer ‘go out for tea’

3. Northern girl - gravy and custard are, of course, top tier 

4. Digital and tech lover, embarking on my life as a freelancer

5. Avid reader, but TV does get in the way of that
